I fell head over heals for The Adventure Zone: Balance right from Here There be Gerblins. When I first started listening to, it was because I needed something to make my days working in a wood shop, or more specifically what I was hearing in the wood shop, a little bit less grating. The Adventure Zone: Balance was just so joyous and fun I ended up following it religiously and crying over a downdraft table when the finale was released.

I know a lot of people interpret Dungeons & Dragons designs as having classic high fantasy aesthetics but for me that was never the tone of this goofy little show. So for this look I chose mostly to thrift and modify garments just like I did when I was first getting into cosplay. I did create an original wizard hat, Bureaux of Balance bracer, and eventually a jacket to go with the outfit, but at its core this outfit is just some fun garments thrown together. It's very comfortable to wear and wearing it always takes me back to how felt first discovering the show!
