Before they announced the original Deadpool film I had never dreamed it would ever become one since Deadpool is an antihero and can be quite a controversial and unsettling at times. I absolutely lost my mind the first time when I got to see it in theaters because it ended up being everything I had ever dreamed a Deadpool movie ever being. I had pretty terrible seats and yet it's still one of my favorite theater experiences to date. The first movie is now even one of my favorite movies of all time and waiting two years for Deadpool 2 to come out was unbearable... But also so worth it. Not as good as the first I'll admit, but it was still my favorite merc with a mouth and his crew back being idiots. I loved it.

Now, I had loved Negasonic's design from the original movie, but wasn't super comfortable with the idea of shaving my head just for a cosplay. But when the first trailer dropped for Deadpool 2, I was pleased that I was able to order a wig for her new hairdo so I could dress as her casually to the premiere. As more images of her costume were revealed and the movie itself followed suit, I decided that I would go all out and cosplay this updated version of her too. And boy am I glad I did because she is just a blast to cosplay!

The bodysuit is a heavily modified version of Yaya Han's Ultimate Bodysuit pattern made out of yellow canvas, silver lining fabric (not used for lining anything though—used as an accent fabric), Yaya Han's black scuba fabric, a shinier black stretch fabric, and black spandex. It is also adorned with a few rectangle studs and includes other basic notions. And of course the question so many people have asked: where did I get the wig? It is a heavily styled Kyle in Spanish Brown from Arda Wigs.
