MORE ABOUT DICK

Anyone who knows me knows that I pretty much love everything Batman, especially the Batfam, and out of the Batfam, the Robins. It was only a matter of time before I made this version of my boy, Dick Grayson.

If you have read my write up on Ken Kaneki, you will understand what I mean when I say this was "baby's second bodysuit" and it is much improved from 'baby's first.' This bodysuit is a heavily modified version of Yaya Han's Ultimate Bodysuit pattern (both the design and the fit were modified to work for this costume), and overall my modifications and construction are a huge step up from my Ken bodysuit. This was also a huge learning process for me, which is why it took so long. The garments were made with spandex milliskin, stretch pleather, a wool poly blend, and felt. The utility belt was made from covering craft foam with the wool poly blend. The mask was made with Worbla's Black Art and window screening. The throwing discs were created with old mat board.
